X-omics Code of Conduct

1. Introduction to X-omics

X-omics offers online courses that include (1) interaction among teachers and students, (2) individual assessment of student achievements, and (3) issuance of certificates or other proof of achievement to students who meet the standards.

Before registering or using any part of the X-omics website (referred to as "the website," including all content and pages under the x-omics.org domain), including accessing any course materials, forums, or using other electronic services, please read and fully understand the contents of this Terms of Service (referred to as "this Terms of Service"), Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct, especially the clauses that exempt or limit liability. Limitations and disclaimers may be highlighted in bold for your attention.

This Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct constitute an agreement (referred to as "this Agreement") between you and X-omics. Whether you are a registered user or not, your use of the website is deemed as your acknowledgment and acceptance of the constraints of this Agreement. 2. Principles of Cooperation

By enrolling in courses on X-omics, you have joined a special global student community. X-omics' goal is to provide learning opportunities for anyone motivated and capable of participating in university courses through the application of internet technology. You have become one of the community members helping X-omics achieve this goal.

X-omics relies on your active and honest study of the relevant materials. To participate in X-omics, you must agree to the following Code of Conduct and any specific additional terms applicable to certain courses. This Code of Conduct and any additional terms will be posted on each course's website.

3. X-omics Code of Conduct Covenant

Participating in X-omics courses, the following will be considered your commitment:

  • You will only complete all mid-term and final exams through my own efforts and will not submit any other person's assignments/achievements.

  • You will hold only one user account and will not allow others to use my user account and/or password.

  • You will not engage in any behavior that may dishonestly improve my grades, or improve or damage the grades of others.

  • You will release answers to questions used to assess student performance. (Unless the course instructor specifies otherwise in Xomics courses)

X-omics encourages students to:

  • Collaborate with others to complete lecture videos, exercises, assignments, and experiments.

  • Discuss general concepts and materials with others in the course.

  • Present ideas and written work to Xomics classmates or others to obtain their opinions and comments.

4. Modification of the Code of Conduct

Please note that we may periodically review and modify this Code of Conduct. Modifications to this Code of Conduct will take effect immediately upon being published on this page, along with the updated effective date. By accessing the website after any modifications have been made, you agree to the modified Code of Conduct and all other modifications to the website.
